JerkRat is a popular creator in Geometry Dash mostly known for having created levels back in the 1.9 update, such as "Sonar", "Swirl" and "Tiny Tunes", which all got added in to the Official in-game Map Packs.

Sonar is also the second most downloaded level in the game.

He started playing in 1.2. At the begining, he was just a casual player who played the game from time to time. 

When 1.5 came out, he started experimenting in the editor and changed his name to "CreatorJR" which became his misunderstood nickname for a long time.

His first levels did not get much attention from the community. However, in 1.7 update he started to get better at creating, and in this update he made his 1st rated and featured levels, such as: "Electro Xstep", "Electro Maze" and "Blue Moon".

Then 1.9 update came around, and in this update he got alot more attention and he played a pretty important role in the design creating. 

He made his Youtube channel in early 1.9 and started to upload videos. In this update, he mainly made "neon styled" levels, basic effect levels, and design levels with vibrant colors.

Later he changed from mobile to the Steam Version for better gaming experience.

He continued creating frequently for 6 months after the release of 2.0 but then became a bit inactive.

In this update he also changed his name back to "JerkRat".

In 2.1 update he started to focus more on making Demon levels and created his best level so far "Wings Of Angel", a collaboration with Xender Game, Xingtick and Unerve. This level got nominated for Best XL Demon for 2.1 Awards.

On the 22nd of february 2019 JerkRat got his Youtube Channel terminated with almost 9000 subscribers at the time, due to a YouTube system bug that during those days was inflicting multiple Geometry Dash channels.

After multiple tries to get the channel back he decided to create a new one under the same name.

On the 7th of May 2019 he decided to quit Geometry Dash due to stress overload from losing the channel and other reasons.

He later came back in late October 2019 and has been active since then.

Now he's focusing on making Geometry Dash related content for YouTube rather than building levels.

His favorite level is "in Silico" by rafer.

He got Official Helper the 28th of July 2016, then advanced to GD Moderator the 5th of July 2017.

He got unmodded the 11th of July 2019 at his own request.

He later got GD Moderator again the 28th of Febraury 2020.

Then again, he got unmodded the 10th of September 2020.
